Hair Envy...

I am someone who has experimented with my hair quite a lot and am always thinking about the next change.

Here are some pictures of hair that I would love to have, however ridiculous it may look on me...

Drew Barrymore - she always seems to have incredible hair and this ombre is awesome, it's not orangey and has a lovely blonde. I have had ombre before and really loved it, so would happily go to this with the wavy texture...

Katy Perry - I have naturally dark hair, and have always wondered about going black. I pretty much went black with my hair a few months ago and quite liked it by the end, and would like to try it with long curled hair...

Ashley Olsen - I so want to try blonde, and I just know it would most probably look awful, but I just need to see if it could look good, and this would just be lovely...

Drew Barrymore - warm chestnut orange = yes please, take me back to my ginger days...

Drew Barrymore - Maybe this is the way I could be blonde, with a really high ombre...

Katy Perry - The 20s are my favourite, and if I could pull this off, I would try it...

Katy Perry - Give me long, curly, luscious, purple hair and I'll be happy forever...

Katy Perry - Then give me smurf blue hair and life may just be perfect...

Katy Perry - I just needed to give love to this plait headband...

Katy Perry - I love this hair colour it's simply amazing...

Mischa Barton - The next time my hair is long I really want to try blonde, and this would be cool. But, it could be the orange eyeliner that makes me love this image...

Miley Cyrus - This is cool because she's dark underneath but lighter on top with highlight and stuff, I like it...

Mischa Barton - Yes Mischa, I wish my hair looked like this when it was long...

Mischa Barton - How does she look good dark and blonde?! This would be lovely please...

Mischa Barton - This picture makes me crave longer hair, and the colour is a yummy warm brown...

Miley Cyrus - I had major hair envy of Miley for a year before she went short-short, especially when she went blonde and looked good...

Katy Perry - I would be so happy to wake up and see my hair like this...

Katy Perry - I have one question; how the feck does she pull off so many hair styles and colours - jealous is not even close. This purple is the one...

Who are your hair crushes?

Tat-for-Tat...

It must seem as though I am really into tattoos, but I'm not massively - it's more that I like to admire tattoos and had to share these rad ones with you...

Great quote, and I love finger tattoos mmmMMmm...

I have a thing for dreamcatchers and tattoos behind the ear...

Space finger tats - what more could you want?...

The sun and moon with eyes = yes...

Three words made into one...

Now, I don't like birds but I like these silhouettes and the placement...

Simply three dots, never seen anything like it and I rate it...

Happy Tattoo viewing,

Enjoy,

Natural Make Up...

Natural make up is something that often sounds easier than it is. I have recently found myself wanting more of a natural look to my make up, especially now that the weather has warmed up. It can be hard to find nice examples of natural make up that aren't too plain, but from my useless ability to spend hours on the internet doing absolutely nothing constructive, I have found some go to people that seem to have a variety of takes on natural make up.

I thought I would share these finds with you, so here it goes...

Leighton Meester

Glowing skin and lash line definition...

Main focus = skin, with a bit of attention on the eye...

A wash of colour on the lid and some dark eyeliner on the bottom lash line...

She's all about illuminating the skin...

A light colour on the lid gives a bright-eyed effect paired with a glossy lip...

Medium brown smudged on the lid and under the eye, with a rosy cheek to finish...

 Lauren Conrad

Bronzed, beautiful skin and a winged out eyeliner...

Rachel Bilson

Very natural skin, with a little bit of brown eyeliner and a gloss to the lip...

Ring-a-ling-a-ling...

Jewellery is a girl's best accessory, there is a way of wearing it whatever your sense of style is and whichever type of jewellery it is that you enjoy. I am a ring girl - always have been and always will, for the last 3 years I am rarely found without a handful of rings, and one of my secret aspirations is to find the perfect ring combination that fills my fingers and hands so much so that I am a ring-lady (strange, I know).

This picture literally makes me so happy, and if I could be as cool as her, then perhaps my life would be complete.

Sorry it's a short one, but I just had to share this cool image.

Summer Fashion - Hats...

I love a good hat, and always have since I was little. They are also great ways of keeping yourself shaded from the sun, protecting your head and face, and if you choose wisely is a great summer accessory.

Here are some inspiring images that we all want to look like in a hat...

For years I have worn a trilby in the summer, only to look back and realise it's not the best look on me. Hats are very personal, so I recommend trying before buying. Here are a few high street finds if you are hunting for a hat during this glorious heatwave...

ASOS - £15
Topshop - £22

River Island - £16

Happy Hat Hunting.

Milan - Day One...

(If you haven't read about the first evening, then go and do so because this is a continuation...)

So, back to it. After having had a few hours sleep, we woke up and called our new pals to arrange the day trip to Lake Como, which is about an hour away from Milan.

MJ and I caught a tram into town and had some pastry delights and coffee, and then met the two R's (Rom Rom) outside the train station and they led the way. The train journey mainly consisted of MJ and I having a catch up and entertaining the two boys who were feeling a little worse for wear because they had had quite a bit to drink last night. We arrived in Como to see the weather not too dissimilar from Milan - wet.

Here are some snaps of the place...

I'm sure that was a picture overload, but oh well. After exploring the small town near the lake we headed back to Milan and had a regroup at the place we were staying. MJ and I decided that it was about time to head into the centre of Milan - which we hadn't done yet, so asked for advice on an authentic Italian and headed in pursuit of that.

Upon arrival, we walked up the steps from the metro to be greeted with this view...

This was breathtaking and so unexpected that it was awesome. After plenty of gawping, we went into the main arcade alongside the duomo and had a choice of restaurants. This arcade was gorgeous and I got a bit snap happy...

We decided upon a restaurant and MJ got her much coveted risotto and all was good. After dinner we grabbed a gelato, despite how cold it was, and had a wander around the streets. It was such a lovely day.

Stay tuned for Day Two.
